He is a member of the American Academy of Religion, Bayreuth Academy of Advanced African Studies (BA) (Germany), Communities Engaging with Difference and Religion (CEDAR), African Consortium for Law and Religion Studies (ACLARS) and African Association for the Study of Religion.
